We've learned a lot by participating in Twitter chats. A favorite is the weekly #GlobalEdChat presented by @AsiaSocietyEdu and moderated by Heather Singmaster, aka @hsingmaster. We're excited to announce that this week we're joining forces and co-hosting a conversation on learning spaces to support global ed! Join us Thursday, October 27, 2016 at 8 PM ET/ 5 PM PT to discuss the following questions (and more!):
We've learned that one of the best (and most fun!) ways to practice lifelong learning is via Twitter chats. Twitter chats are one of the easiest ways to connect with like-minded professionals and talk about a variety of interesting topics. They happen all around the world and are very flexible: you can participate as much as you like by tweeting responses or questions. Or you can just tune in and observe the conversation.
If you've haven't participated in a Twitter chat before its easy to get started! You will need to log in or sign up for Twitter. Shortly before the chat is scheduled to start search for the chat's hashtag, in this case #GlobalEdChat. Follow along with the moderator and read the other participant's responses to get a feel for the conversation and Twitter lingo (for example, a response to Question 1 will often begin with "A1"). Responding to other's comments, fav'ing tweets, and following fellow chat participants is highly encouraged!
After the Chat
