Meet our PenPal of the Week, Alexey L. from Ukraine! Alexey participated in our World Explorer project. Alexey is being recognized because he writes to his PenPals frequently and in a lot of detail!
When asked what his favorite part of PenPal Schools has been, Alexey told us, "My favourite part of the PenPal exchange has been history, because it's always interesting to learn something new about other countries." Congratulations to Alexey for being such a great PenPal!
When we asked her what her favorite part of PenPal Schools was, Mariangel told us, “PenPal has been a great experience for me because I got the opportunity to talk to people from another country and, I got to know a lot about their culture and the meaning of various symbols. I thought it would be kind of boring at the beginning because I didn't understand but then I met my PenPal and we became friends.
As summer approaches, students around the world continue to learn together with PenPals. This week, we celebrate one of our PenPals from Jordan, Karim K, as PenPal of the Week! Karim is participating in World Explorer, and he does a great job of providing his PenPals with detailed examples of his life in Jordan. When asked what his favorite part of PenPal Schools has been, he told us, “PenPals gave me the chance to exchange ideas with a lot of children in different countries.”
Congratulations to Karim for being such a great PenPal!
